Personal Training for best results

All of the personal training, and group coaching is based in Mid Sussex (Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill). Travel further than 8 miles will be charged extra for. There will be resources to help people not locally based soon’.

Personal Performance Coaching

PPC is the Everyday Athletes take on personal training, and is all about getting you where you want to be. The sessions are geared specifically to your needs and goals with regular checks and reviews along the way.

PPC will be based around the most effective physical training for you, and will also include nutritional advice and psychological strategies for success. Get your mind and body positively aligned in the same direction and experience the difference this makes!

Often you can see exercises being done incorrectly, or being affected by poor posture or sub optimal movement patterns. Have total confidence in your techniques and correct any imbalances in your posture, so that movement and exercise leaves you feeling great.

Kettlebell Training

Kettlebells have become massively popular over the last few years. They are a great tool that can add some interesting and fun options to your training. I sometimes use them with personal training clients and in outdoor circuit training classes. Some people want to work specifically with kettlebells and others want me to train them up to a level so that they can use kettlebells at home by themselves. Remember, you can get great results with kettlebells and without them. As with any tool, it’s what you do and how you do it that makes the difference.

Muscle Activation Techniques

MAT is something I use as a way of constantly evaluating my personal training clients. It provides a way of assessing for physical imbalances, any weakness that may be contributing to this, and then appropriately strengthening where this is most needed to restore a balanced range of motion. Correcting any such issues should create the conditions in the body that enable exercises to be productive. Without such corrections people may find certain movements only cause them more pain or discomfort.

MAT can also be of use to people seeking to resolve injuries and pain. It can therefore be used as a stand-alone MAT session rather than as part of a personal training session.
